The Industry Training Federation annual conference is the premiere event on the New Zealand conference calendar for those with an interest in industry relevant education and training.

New Zealand has an internationally renowned industry training sector which is unique in the way the training organisations stem from industry and respond to industry need, but also deliver on government objectives with qualifications linked to the national qualifications framework. Industry and the industry training sector are intertwined and feed off each other to deliver better productivity for workplaces, for industry, and for the country.

The 2011 conference will cover the value training offers industry and the value that industry offers the training sector.

It will include the ideas and experiences of industry leaders, employers of different sizes, workers, Industry Training Organisations, providers, and government.

It will look at ways that we can build on what we have to develop into a flourishing cohesive vocational education and training system that meets the needs of industry and the country.
