The day was organised by the Industry Training Federation (ITF) to raise awareness and understanding of industry training and workplace learning.

NZ Skills Strategy Launched - 30 April 2008
A discussion document has been released setting out the proposals for a NZ Skills Strategy. This document has been developed by a partnership involving business, unions, the industry training sector and government.
There will be a series of discussion forums around the country in May 2008, and the opportunity to provide feedback via the NZ Skills Strategy website, or read more about the skills strategy in our factsheet:
