The Industry Training Federation will continue working with Industry Training Organisations to support compliance with government regulations and deliver value to their industries.
Federation Executive Director Jeremy Baker said today that the Federation’s board agreed that the level of non-compliance that the TEC’s review uncovered was not acceptable. “We understand the actions that are being taken by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).
“We also acknowledge the efforts being made by TEC to improve its systems to ensure a more thorough reporting system.
“We also believe that in the current environment it is more important than ever for ITOs to work closely with industries to support a robust vocational education and training system that delivers value to industry, government and trainees.
“Our focus is to work with members to ensure they are well equipped to achieve that,” Mr Baker said.
