This year’s event presents the ability to showcase to participants from all over New Zealand and further afield such as the Pacific Rim and Australia, a comprehensive and in-depth professional development opportunity. As well our goal is to bring to the participants not only a conference that will foster professional growth of the practitioner (attendee) but will enhance quality and delivery of career BEST practice across all of the education sectors and general communities. Our conference wishes to provide all those in attendance an experience of the true Southland Spirit and Hospitality in our region, as well as professionally grow in their respective positions of responsibility.
The target audience for the CATE conference are professionals working in the Career and Transition sector primarily based within the secondary education sector; Careers Advisors, Gateway and STAR coordinators and independent Career Practitioners and Consultants. Conference participants will also include those involved in the youth training area such as Career Services, Tertiary Providers, Private Training Entities and Industry Training Organisations.
